Tulip Joshi’s whistling talents

Actress Tulip Joshi is currently working for Rohit Jugraj’s ‘Superstar’ which is being made under the banner of ‘Shri Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd.’ The actress shocked one and all with the display of one of her hidden talents. For one scene of the film, Tulip was to emit a loud whistle. Petite as she looks, Rohit Jugraj assumed that she may not be able to do so and suggested she just pretend to whistle, and that would later on be dubbed. But to everyone’s suprprise, Tulip whistled so loudly and so well, that the take was okayed in shot one itself.Tulip cheekily says, “Yeah everyone was quite surprised at hearing me whistle so well, like an experience roadside Romeo I guess. Haha! I have always whistled as well as any guy, sometimes better. It was loads of fun shooting that day I must say!”

Bollywood male hotties set the ramp afire

Bollywood male hotties — Milind Soman, Dino Morea and Arjun Rampal — stole the thunder at the finale of a stunning fashion show that celebrated two decades of Tina Tahiliani Parekh’s fashion store at Grand Hyatt on Sunday night.Choregraphed by Mehr Rampal, the show had an array of designers with Tarun Tahiliani, followed by Varun Bahl, Surily Goel, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Monisha Jaising, Anamika Khanna, Rajesh Pratap Singh and Rohit Bal.
Nonetheless, watching it all in the front row was Madhur Bhandarkar taking tips for his forthcoming film, ‘Fashion’. The presence of ever-so-beautiful Priyanka on his side just made all the difference.
And for those who thought that the long tresses adorning male shoulders had taken to the grave with Dhoni and John Abraham chopping them off, check these hunks who proudly flaunt their lengths!!

Who’s that girl? Dressed in a striking red pleated silk mini by Jenny Packham, this is media’s pet’s SRK’s media shy wife Gauri Khan, 37-year-old, mother of two, as the latest cover girl for January 2008 issue of ‘Vogue’ magazine. The issue will hit the stalls today and it also has King Khan posing with her lady in a few pics. The pics were shot against the eight-floor extension of the Khans’ dream home, Mannat. Gauri also shared some sincere moments with the magazine.On her clothes she said, “I hate tight, revealing clothes and goes on to add that her son Aryan is her biggest fashion critic. What I wear really depends on my mood and I always keep in mind that I am the wife of a very successful man.”
About Shahrukh, she said, “He is the best husband and father I could ever ask for. I always say that I am so fortunate to be with Shahrukh Khan, the man. I don’t come from a space where I gush and praise – the world is doing enough of that. I like to keep my love for him private and inside the doors of Mannat.”

The Bomabay Dyeing Gladrags pageant 2008 saw participation of unique diversity of women from all walks of life some homemakers, others from professional backgrounds such as media, marketing, actors and businesswomen. However, Mrs Madhvi Awasthi was adjudged winner by Mrs Jimmy Nanda Bombay Dyeing Gladrags Mrs India 2007 along with Judge Mrs Maureen Wadia. Mrs Tanu Singh and Mrs Yukti Mehandiratta won the first and second runner up positions respectively.The judges of the contest were Mrs Maureen Wadia, National award winner Shabana Azmi, Bollywood star Mahima Choudhury, Malaika Arora Khan, John Abraham, Mehul Choksi, Mr S K Gupta, Dr Amardas Gupta and Director of Botox Rajiv Nagi. The evening was hosted by Sajid Khan.
