This section told you about Celina Jaitley’s love for sarees, then about Payal Rohtagi being spotted in them, next Tanisha Mukherjee ready to drape her grandmom’s six yards and now it is Sameera Reddy who turned out to be gorgeous in a red saree in an international festival recently.Says Sameera, “It’s a trend, particular when Indian actresses are abroad, to judge what they have worn and how they have carried themselves. Though I had carried some gowns, I eventually wore saris at all the dos, because this is one Indian outfit that makes a grand statement. Of course, George Clooney’s eyes fell on me because of my sari. And by the end of the evening, there wasn’t a single person who didn’t mention how beautiful the sari was.” That’s what we call celebrating India.
