How strong her would-be mother-in-law is, Bollywood Queen Aishwarya Rai came to know recently at a party, where she merely got scolded by its host Jaya Bachchan for her late arrival.

As per reports, Aishwarya was recently invited for a formal dinner at the Bachchan household; Aishwarya, very much busy with her hectic schedule, turned up there little late without bothering to even call and inform her host, which made Jaya Bachchan very angry. So on entering, though Aishwarya apologized for her late, Jaya reprimanded her saying that she should have informed her about being late and not kept everyone waiting for her.

Aishwarya, totally unprepared for this, as tried to explain the reason for her late, Jaya Bachchan merely stopped her halfway saying, “Take it easy Ash, aren’t we all working.”

However before the thing became too bitter, it’s Big B and daughter Shweta intervened and tactfully changed the subject. Abhishek, busy shooting in London , however wasn’t present that night. God knows what he would think of her mother, scolded his sweetheart so rudely in his presence.

However it’s Jaya Bachchan, who finally made the thing very easy by calling up her and explained that her strict disciplinarian stance was because Amitabh did not like people being late. Great, right!
