Union Health Minister A. Ramadoss is quite miffed at the promos as they show king Khan SRK chucking a cigarette and Ramadoss has made his disapproval quite clear. The health ministry has taken an objection to the promos. Producers Riteish Sidhwani and director Farhan Akhtar are upset that such an objection has been raised when the censor board had passed the promo without any problem.
According to reports, Sidhwani, Farhan and even SRK are upset that Ramadoss has jumped to judge the film without seeing the film. In the film, it seems, Shah Rukh’s character is in fact stops another character from smoking and actually says – “Smoking kills. I am trying to quit smoking,†and throws the cigarette away. Now, if this is true, it will really be an embarrassment for the minister as he will be criticizing SRK who is actually promoting health ministry’s message.
