He has delivered two of the most successful films of 2006 in the form of Rang De Basanti and Fanaa. But the perfectionist in Aamir Khan is not content with these on-screen triumphs.
Aamir is gradually broadening his horizons behind the scenes with every new project. The latest buzz is that Aamir has tied up with PVR Cinemas, the leading multiplex chain, that has decided to enter film production business. According to the buzz, Aamir has agreed to play the lead in their first two films scheduled to release in 2007 and 2008. According to reports, Aamir will also be co-producing the films but this has not been confirmed yet.
Aamir is currently working out the details of his second home production post-Lagaan that will feature his nephew in the lead role. On the acting front, Aamir is currently busy preparing for Mani Ratnam’s Lajjo and the remake of Ghajini, a Tamil version hit on the lines of the English thriller Memento.
